Cowhide - Patchwork
A linear patchwork of rectangular cowhide panels creates a rhythmic checkerboard of warm neutrals and high-contrast accents. Strips of beige, ivory, light brown, rich brown and black alternate across a multi-hued background, with each hide showing its own speckles, spots and tonal variation that give the surface visual movement. Hand made from cowhide with leather binding, the hair-on-hide surface offers a soft, tactile nap and a subtle natural sheen; the stitched panels add a tailored, handcrafted look and a sense of structure underfoot.
