Cowhide - Patchwork
A compact mosaic of hand-stitched rectangles arranged in a tight grid gives this rug a rhythmic, modern look. Bands of warm amber-orange alternate with deep black and brown patches, while lively accents of red, pink, blue and purple punctuate the overall multi-hued field. Handmade from cowhide and leather, the surface has a soft hair-on-hide nap with a subtle sheen where the light hits it; the visible stitching and slight variation in each patch add a tactile, crafted quality underfoot.
