The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Handmade of cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug arranges narrow rectangular strips into a grid of rotated blocks for a structured, modern look. The multi background blends beige, ivory, light brown, brown, black and gray with accents of orange and yellow, creating layered color movement across the surface. Running stitches between each piece and the hair-on-hide texture give a tactile quality—soft underfoot with a subtle sheen and natural variations in tone and pattern that read as handcrafted detail.
