The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A lively patchwork of small square hides creates a pixel-like pattern in bold purples punctuated by pops of red, orange, yellow and cream. Hand made of cowhide and leather, the surface has a soft, velvety nap with a natural sheen and slight variation from patch to patch. Fine stitching outlines each square, giving the rug a precise, grid-like structure while the leather backing and cowhide face keep the overall texture low-profile and tactile underfoot.
