The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
This piece from the Cowhide - Patchwork Collection features a mosaic of slender rectangular blocks arranged in a dynamic, modern striped pattern. Hand made from cowhide and leather in India, it showcases a varied medium texture with the organic feel of genuine hide. A versatile palette of beige, ivory, cream, brown, and black creates the grounding base, punctuated by scattered accents of vibrant red, orange, yellow, blue, and green. The stitched patchwork construction provides visual depth and a contemporary aesthetic.
