The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Handmade from cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug arranges small square hides into a checkerboard of color and texture. Warm orange and yellow patches form the primary field, offset by deep purple and occasional red blocks, while silver splatter accents catch the light and add a metallic sheen across the surface. The hair-on-hide finish gives a low, tactile nap with visible grain and stitched seams between each square, so the rug reads as both artisanal and tailored underfoot.
