The multi background is composed of hair-on-hide and leather strips in a wide palette — beige, black, blue, brown, ivory, light brown, navy blue, purple, red, yellow, pink, green and gray — with small bursts of saturated color set against neutral, mottled cowhide tones. Hand stitching along each seam emphasizes the artisanal construction and gives the surface a subtle linear rhythm.
