The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A tightly arranged patchwork of small, puzzle-like motifs gives this rug a bold, graphic presence. Strong black and ivory elements create the primary contrast while warm tones of beige, tan, light brown and deeper brown are scattered throughout, producing a richly layered, multi-colored field. Close inspection reveals hand-stitched seams and subtle variations in each patch that add visual rhythm and artisanal detail.

Handmade of cowhide and leather, the surface has a low, tactile pile with the natural grain and soft nap of hide underfoot. The stitched patch edges introduce a gentle relief that you can feel as well as see, giving the rug dimensional texture without bulk. Use it to ground a living area under a coffee table, add texture and pattern to a study or home office, or place it in an entry or hallway to bring warmth to a neutral scheme; its neutral palette and geometric character work well with modern, industrial, and mid-century interiors.
