Product Description

Handmade from cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug arranges narrow rectangular pieces into a tight, rhythmic grid. The multi background blends beige, ivory, light brown, brown, black and silver tones with occasional warm amber highlights, producing a layered, mosaic-like surface. Running your hand across it reveals the short hair-on-hide texture and the subtle seam lines where each patch is stitched, offering a smooth, tactile feel with slight topographical variation from the leather joins.

The rug’s pattern and natural color palette bring a grounded, textural presence to a room. It works well in a modern farmhouse or rustic contemporary living room to add organic warmth, in an industrial loft to soften concrete and metal finishes, or layered beneath a dining table to introduce visual interest without overwhelming the furniture. It also fits nicely in a study or entryway where the patchwork brings understated character and a handcrafted look.
