The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Part of the Cowhide - Patchwork collection, this modern 5x8 rectangular rug showcases a geometric trellis pattern crafted from stitched panels. Hand made in India from cowhide and leather, it presents a smooth, medium-pile surface with natural hair-on-hide texture. The palette combines a light cream and beige field with dynamic linear accents of black, dark brown, and soft gray tones, creating a tailored, mosaic-inspired aesthetic.
