Handmade of cowhide and leather, this patchwork rug arranges small rectangular tiles into a tight, basket-weave-like geometric pattern. The surface has the smooth, tactile quality of hair-on-hide with visible seams that add subtle texture and depth. The background is multi, composed of beige, cream, ivory and a range of browns and light browns, set against strong black and tan elements and finished with navy blue and occasional orange accents that create visual interest without overwhelming the palette.
