The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
Hand made of cowhide & leather, this patchwork rug arranges small hexagonal tiles into a dense honeycomb pattern that balances repeat geometry with natural variation. The multi background weaves together beige, black, brown, ivory and light brown tones; individual hides introduce subtle mottling and directional hair that catch light differently across the surface. Running a hand across the piece reveals short hair-on-hide with a soft nap and a gentle sheen, while the stitched leather joins give the rug a defined structure and tactile interest.

Pair it with warm wood furniture, black metal accents, or leather upholstery to reinforce the rug’s natural tones and structured pattern.
