Hand made of cowhide and leather, this rug is composed of neatly stitched square patches arranged in a checkerboard pattern. The multi background blends beige, brown, black, ivory and gray tones, with natural hair-on-hide markings and subtle tonal variation across each square. The surface has a low, tactile hair-on-hide pile with a gentle sheen and visible hand-stitched seams that create a refined, textural feel underfoot.
