The background is multi, with a palette that includes ivory, navy blue, orange, red, turquoise, violet and maroon; deep fields sit next to bright orange and ivory stripes for clear, layered contrast. The wool surface is dense and slightly nubby to the touch, with a springy firmness underfoot and short fringed ends that give the piece a relaxed, handcrafted finish.
