Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug presents horizontal registers of geometric medallions, stylized rosettes and hooked motifs alternating with bands of solid and multi-hued stripes. The ground is multi-colored, with a balanced palette of beige, blue, brown, red, yellow and green—deep reds and indigo blues anchor the medallions while softer beiges and warm browns provide contrast. The hand-spun wool gives the pile a tactile, low-to-medium density and a slightly textured, substantial feel underfoot that highlights the clarity of each motif.
