The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A tight patchwork grid of hand-cut squares creates a lively, geometric surface in warm, saturated hues. Squares of orange, purple, red and yellow are set against a multi-tonal background, forming a pixel-like pattern that balances order with playful color shifts. Handmade from cowhide and leather, the hair-on-hide finish offers a low, velvety nap and a subtle natural sheen; the seams between patches add gentle ridging and tactile interest while the leather joins provide durability and structure.
