The piece
Cowhide - Patchwork
A tight, basketweave patchwork pattern gives this piece a structured, geometric look—rows of small rectangular cowhide tiles alternate to create a rhythmic grid in a multi background. The palette mixes beige, ivory, light brown, brown and black for a grounded, natural contrast; each patch picks up subtle shifts in tone and grain that add depth without visual clutter. Handmade of cowhide and leather, the surface has a low, velvety pile with a slight sheen and gentle variation in nap; the stitched seams between patches introduce a tactile definition you can feel underfoot.

Pair this rug with warm wood furniture and leather upholstery to emphasize its natural materials, or use it to warm a pared-back, contemporary space where texture is the focal point. It works well beneath a seating group in the living room, anchoring a dining table, or adding interest to a home office. The neutral, multi-toned colorway also layers easily over larger rugs or hardwood floors in modern rustic, transitional, industrial, or mid-century settings.
