Cowhide - Patchwork
A tight patchwork of small square panels creates a pixel-like checkerboard in warm, natural tones. The background is multi-tonal, with tiles in beige, ivory, light brown, brown and occasional black creating a lively, yet restrained pattern. Each square shows subtle variations in hair direction and natural marking, and the stitched seams between panels give the surface a tactile, handcrafted rhythm. Handmade of cowhide and leather, the rug has a low, velvety nap with a soft, slightly glossy finish that feels substantial underfoot.
