The piece
Moroccan
Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug pairs geometric clarity with a layered, textile feel. Horizontal banding in a multi background sets a linear stage for three stacked diamond medallions in beige, black, and gray. Specks and threads of blue, light blue, green, brown and tan run through the stripes, giving the surface subtle color variation and depth. The weave produces a gently ribbed texture where the weft bands meet the pile, and short knotted fringe on the ends completes the look.
