The piece
Kundan
Hand-knotted from pure silk in India, this rectangular area rug from the Kundan Collection displays an intricate Persian floral motif. A central medallion anchors the field, radiating complex arabesques and botanical palmettes enclosed by ornate, layered borders. The multi-colored palette blends an antique beige background with rich tones of deep plum, turquoise, soft mauve, and charcoal gray. Crafted with a medium pile, the silk yarn provides a subtle natural sheen, bringing soft tactile comfort and refined definition to every traditional element.
