Product Description
The Isfahan collection offers an impressive 10x14 hand-knotted rug crafted from 100% wool, presenting a classic display of time-honored design. This semi-antique piece showcases a Navy Blue background, tastefully complemented by an intricate pattern that interweaves shades of Black, Beige, Blue, Brown, Green, and Red. Notable features include the low pile, which speaks to the rug's gentle aging and consistent usage over its 40-60 year lifespan, adding character to the piece.
The design exhibits a detailed central medallion surrounded by an elaborate network of floral motifs and embellishments, bordered by a series of decorative guard bands. The robust use of color and pattern makes this rug a statement piece, yet its traditional motif allows for versatility in various decor settings. The fringe edging provides a classic finish to the rug's aesthetic.
This rug is fitting for an array of interior styles, from the grandeur of a formal living room or stately office to an accent piece in a refined dining area. Its rich hues and dignified pattern would complement dark wood furnishings, enhance the warmth of traditional decor, or act as a striking contrast in a more contemporary space. It is a statement piece that can unite various decor elements and introduce a sense of depth and history to an interior.

Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
Bedroom
Place a large rug under the bed so it extends 2-3 feet on each side, or use smaller rugs on either side of the bed.
Outdoor
Measure your patio or deck area and choose a rug that fits within the furniture grouping, leaving a few inches of clearance on all sides.
- Vacuum regularly on a low suction setting to remove surface dirt.
- Spot clean stains immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Deep clean by hand using a mixture of cool water and mild wool-safe soap.
- Have the rug professionally cleaned every 3-5 years.
- Rotate the rug every 6 months to ensure even wear and fading.
Consider the existing colors in your room, including walls, furniture, and decor. A rug can either complement or contrast with these elements.
Lighter colors make a room feel larger and more open, while darker colors add warmth and coziness.
If your room has a lot of patterns, choose a solid or subtly patterned rug. If your room is mostly solid colors, a patterned rug can add visual interest.
