Hand-knotted in 100% wool, this rug presents a field of warm pink punctuated by a disciplined repeat of octagonal guls and small geometric motifs in gray, beige, black and brown. The layered borders use stepped patterns and interlocking forms in ivory and muted tones to frame the central field, while the natural fringe finishes both ends. Running your hand across the pile reveals a dense, slightly plush wool texture with clear definition where the knotting highlights each motif and border.
This rug brings a measured vintage character to a variety of interiors. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
