A hand-made wool rug with a classic medallion layout and an overall antique-inspired personality. A large central medallion anchors a densely patterned field filled with tiny geometric and floral motifs, framed by multiple inner panels and a broad border punctuated with repeating rosettes. The background is pink, while accents of olive, orange, light blue and light brown are woven throughout, creating layered color depth and lively, small-scale detail.
The wool pile has a soft, tightly worked hand that provides gentle cushioning and a low, matte sheen. Dining Room
Choose a rug that extends at least 24 inches beyond each side of the table so chairs can slide in and out comfortably.
Entryway
A 3x5 or 4x6 rug works well for most entryways. Make sure it does not interfere with the door opening.
Living Room
For a seating area, choose a rug large enough so that at least the front legs of all furniture pieces sit on the rug. Common sizes are 8x10 or 9x12.
Kitchen
A runner rug works great in front of the sink or stove. For larger kitchens, a 4x6 or 5x8 can anchor the space.
