A richly patterned runner with a deep red background, this hand-knotted piece places a row of geometric star medallions down its center in layered tones of yellow, navy, blue, green and ivory. Narrow blue guard bands frame the central field, while a wide ivory outer border repeats smaller star motifs arranged in tile-like squares. Tiny rosette and dot accents in brown, yellow and navy punctuate the design, giving the rug a balanced, rhythmic look that reads both structured and warm.
