Product Description
This Kilim Fars collection rug presents an array of geometric diamond motifs, harmoniously arranged in a tessellated pattern that boasts a rich palette of red, green, ivory, terracotta, orange, and navy blue, with red as the dominant background color. Hand-knotted from 100% wool, this 10-foot runner possesses a flatweave texture, a testament to the craftsmanship of traditional Kilim weaving techniques.
The authentic design and vibrant colors lend this semi-antique runner a character that complements interiors with an appreciation for cultural heritage and timeless style. The woolen texture underfoot is firm, with the presence of fringe adding to the authentic feel of the piece. The rug's linear dimension makes it a perfect candidate for hallways, galleries, or long, narrow spaces in need of visual interest and artisanal appeal. Its relatively low pile makes it a functional piece in high-traffic areas, while its bold pattern can anchor and define a space within larger, open-plan interiors.
Subdued, earthy interiors would benefit from the lively contrast this rug offers, while eclectic homes will appreciate its ability to tie together a range of colors and textures. Similarly, traditional settings would welcome this runner as a statement piece that connects to historical aesthetics. The Kilim Fars is not just a functional textile but a piece of art that brings richness and vibrancy to any space it inhabits.
