Kashan
A classic Persian-style medallion rug on a rich red background, hand made of wool with a finely detailed, allover floral-and-vine pattern. A cream central medallion anchors the composition while burgundy, dark blue, blue and light brown motifs radiate outward in a tightly drawn network of palmettes and arabesques. The dark blue border with repeating floral cartouches frames the field and gives a clear visual edge that balances the abundant ornamentation. The hand-knotted wool pile feels naturally soft and resilient underfoot, with enough density to hold crisp pattern definition and a comfortable, substantial hand.
