The piece
Ghom Silk
Handmade in Iran from 100% silk, this rectangular rug from the Ghom Silk Collection showcases authentic Persian artistry. A vibrant red central field anchors an intricate radiating medallion, surrounded by dense floral vines, palmettes, and scrolling foliage. Accents of gold, olive green, soft pink, and warm brown highlight the detailed motifs across the field and outer borders. Finished with a medium pile, fine fringe, and a traditional signature cartouche along the top edge, the pure silk construction provides a smooth feel and natural sheen.
