Nain
Hand-knotted from a blend of wool and silk, this rectangular piece from the Nain Collection displays classic oriental craftsmanship. A deep crimson red field serves as the foundation for an ornate central medallion, surrounded by dense floral vines, palmettes, and scrolling arabesques in shades of ivory, cream, and soft sky blue. The composition is framed by a detailed ivory border with complementary botanical motifs and finished with traditional knotted fringe at both ends. Its thin pile offers a smooth, refined surface with a subtle sheen from the silk fibers.
