The piece
Carved Pekin
Part of the Carved Pekin Collection, this 4 ft runner rug showcases bold, retro floral and botanical motifs rendered with distinctive sculptural depth. Hand knotted from 100% wool, it features a thick high pile with dimensional carving that accentuates the scrolling forms. Rich red tones provide the background field, framed by a rust-orange border and layered with vibrant accents of yellow, gold, olive green, dark brown, and coral. The natural wool construction delivers a dense, substantial feel underfoot.
