Product Description

A deep red field provides a warm, grounded backdrop for a row of geometric medallions set along the rug’s center, each outlined in black and picked out with ivory highlights. A series of narrow guard borders — stacked bands of lattice and tiny stepped motifs in black and ivory — frames the field and creates a layered, handworked look. Hand-knotted in 100% wool, the rug has a dense, low pile that feels substantial underfoot while keeping the pattern crisp; natural ivory fringe at the ends completes the piece.

This tribal-inspired design works equally well in traditional and more contemporary interiors. Place it in an entryway or hallway to add color and direction, layer it over hardwood in a living space beneath a small seating area, or position it in front of a console or at the foot of a bed to ground the vignette. It pairs naturally with warm wood tones and leather, brass or matte metal accents, and also provides a rich counterpoint to neutral or minimalist furnishings.
