Hand-knotted from wool in Iran, this traditional 4x6 rectangular rug from the Bortschalu Collection showcases classic craftsmanship with a durable medium pile. The design features a deep red field decorated with intricate floral and geometric motifs, centered around a bold navy blue and cream medallion. Matching spandrels frame the inner field, while a layered navy border with stylized botanical elements and soft yellow and blue accents encloses the composition, finished with neat fringe along the ends.
