Hand-knotted of 100% wool, this rug presents a warm red ground defined by closely spaced, horizontal stripes. Narrow bands of cream, green, gold, olive and peach run across the surface in slightly irregular lines, producing a gentle, lived-in linear pattern. The wool pile feels dense and slightly springy underfoot, with subtle variations in yarn thickness that give the surface a tactile, layered quality.
