Jajim
This hand made wool Jajim displays a classic striped layout in a warm red field, punctuated by narrow bands of dark charcoal and cream with stepped edges. Small geometric diamond motifs in rust, orange, purple, green and ivory march down the red stripes, while tiny multicolored knots and tufts add playful, tactile dots across the surface. The flatwoven construction has a firm hand and subtle irregularities that reflect traditional weaving techniques, giving the rug a low, textured feel underfoot rather than a plush pile.
