A hand-made, 100% wool rug with a classic tribal medallion layout, this piece centers three diamond-shaped medallions filled with paired bird motifs and small geometric and floral elements. The dominant red field provides a warm backdrop while accents of olive green, green, grey, orange and cream bring depth to the pattern; a cream border decorated with repeating bird motifs frames the composition and adds a graphic finishing touch. The overall style balances traditional Persian-inspired motifs with an energetic, folk-art sensibility.
