Product Description
This Kilim Fars 7 Ft Runner rug is hand-knotted of 100% wool, offering a durable and tactile texture that underpins its handcrafted quality. The rug's pattern is a harmonious composition of geometric shapes, with a repeating series of diamond motifs flanked by intricate borders, showcasing a symmetrical arrangement in a rich palette that includes red as the prominent background color, accented with tones of brown, orange, green, black, and beige.
The authenticity of this piece is reflected in its semi-antique status, indicative of its heritage and the stories it carries. Having been loved for 40-60 years, the rug presents condition details that characterize its historic provenance, such as missing fringe and repairs, while still retaining its original fringe on other edges, adding to its rustic charm.
Given its strong visual presence and traditional aesthetic, this rug is ideally suited for spaces where a sense of history and craftsmanship is appreciated. It can serve as a cultural anchor in an eclectic living room, a warm welcome in an entryway, or an elegant corridor piece in a hallway. Its robust construction makes it well-suited for areas of moderate foot traffic, where its rich colors can create a vibrant backdrop for a variety of interior design elements. The Kilim Fars runner is a testament to time-honored weaving traditions and would complement interiors that embrace global influences, bohemian flair, or rustic farmhouse style.
