A rich red field anchors a traditional floral-and-medallion composition, where a central rosette and surrounding arabesques unfold into a lively allover pattern. Scrolling vines, palmettes and paisley-shaped boteh motifs are worked in a layered palette of blue, navy blue, green, orange, salmon, yellow, brown and black, while a cream outer border frames repeating round rosettes and leafy accents. A narrow inner guard border in muted blue separates the field from the border, giving the piece a balanced, classic presence that reads as thoughtfully detailed without excess.
