Hamedan
A richly patterned Persian-style runner with a deep red field, this hand made 100% wool piece centers on a single diamond medallion set within an all-over lattice of small floral and geometric motifs. The design moves from the red ground into a dark, nearly black guard border dotted with circular rosettes, while secondary hues of brown, grey, soft peach, orange and touches of blue animate the pattern and add layered contrast. The overall look is classic and detailed, with the motifs arranged tightly for a sense of rhythm along the length of the rug.
