A bold, hand-woven kilim in 100% wool, this runner presents a red background enlivened by a tight geometric pattern of diamond medallions and interlocking lozenges. The field alternates navy blue, green, maroon, orange and black within a tessellated motif that creates a rhythmic, almost mosaic effect. Narrow guard borders in cream and warm tones frame the central panel with stepped motifs and small arrowhead shapes, and the flatweave construction gives the surface a low-profile, firm hand with visible woven texture and subtle color variations from the handcrafting process.
