A deep red ground sets a warm, grounding tone across this hand-woven, 100% wool flatweave. The surface shows a low-contrast geometric lattice of diamond motifs and subtle medallion shapes worked in slightly darker reds, creating a tonal, almost embossed effect that reads as refined texture rather than bold pattern. Narrow border bands echo the central geometry, giving the rug a sense of structure while the wool pile retains a soft, natural hand—pleasant underfoot and tactile to touch.
