Product Description

Part of the Tabriz collection, this hand-knotted 100% wool rug displays a traditional Persian medallion layout on a warm red ground. A beige central medallion radiates layered palmettes and teardrop motifs, while scrolling floral vines and tiny rosette accents fill the field. The layered border in beige, brown and green frames the composition with repeating cartouches and floral sprays, giving the design a finely detailed, balanced look. The dense, hand-knotted wool pile has a supple, slightly cushioned feel underfoot and holds crisp knot definition that highlights the pattern’s intricate lines.

This rug works well in classic or transitional interiors where rich color and detailed pattern are welcome. Place it beneath a dining table to ground a formal dining set, under a seating group to anchor a living room with dark wood or leather furnishings, or in a study or library to complement built-in shelving and brass accents. It also blends nicely into layered, eclectic schemes when paired with neutral upholstery and textured textiles to balance its ornate motif.
