Product Description

Hand-woven of 100% wool, this flatweave kilim presents a structured geometric layout on a rust red background. A vertical run of interlocking diamond medallions in rust and tan anchors the center, while stepped chevrons and small lozenge motifs in cream, light green and olive form the inner field. The wide border carries repeating rosette-like shapes and angular motifs in tan and cream, giving the piece a balanced, tribal-inspired composition. The surface is low-profile and tightly woven, with a slightly ribbed, tactile texture that feels sturdy underhand and shows subtle color variations where the wool strands meet.

Run your fingers across the weave and you’ll notice the firm, matte finish common to traditional kilims. The warm rust red provides a strong anchor for a variety of palettes, while the cream and light green tones soften the overall look. Works well in an entryway or layered in a living room to define a seating area, and pairs naturally with mid-century and bohemian interiors as well as rustic or Mediterranean schemes—think natural wood furniture, leather seating, and woven accents for a cohesive setting.
