The piece
Ultra Vintage
This Ultra Vintage collection area rug presents a deep rust red background with brown accents creating an enduring traditional pattern. Hand knotted from 100% wool, the 4x6 rug showcases a symmetrical arrangement of motifs, indicative of classical oriental designs, with a central diamond-shaped emblem encased in intricate borders. Texture-wise, the wool imparts a soft, tactile quality while the detailing displays the skilled artisanship that defines this semi-antique piece, dating between 40 to 60 years old.
