A traditional tribal layout of nested square medallions and tightly packed guard borders gives this hand-knotted wool rug a sense of ordered detail. The rust red field provides a warm, even background while brown outlines and ivory accents trace the geometric motifs and fine inner bands. The pile is low to medium with a dense hand-knotted weave you can feel beneath your fingers; areas of soft fading and abrasion add a lived-in patina that highlights the pattern without overwhelming it.
