The rug has a classic, worn medallion layout on a rust red background, with an offset central motif and a faded border that gives the surface a relaxed, vintage character. Muted blue, beige and brown motifs sit against the rust field, where selective color loss and subtle abrash create a layered, timeworn effect. Hand-knotted from 100% wool, the weave shows slight knot variation and a low, tactile pile; when you run your hand across it you feel the soft woolen surface and the gentle texture of handcrafted knotting.
