Product Description

Hand-woven in 100% wool, this flatweave kilim presents a rust red background punctuated by a tight diamond lattice in terracotta, orange, burgundy, black and brown. The central field’s repeating geometric diamonds are framed by narrow side borders of stepped motifs and small medallions, while the ends feature striped bands and short fringes that add a handcrafted finishing touch. The pattern is rooted in traditional tribal weaving, with crisp color contrasts and rhythmic repetition across the surface.

The texture is firm and low-profile, typical of kilim construction, with a tactile, slightly dry wool hand that feels substantial beneath your feet. This rug works well in an entry or hallway as a strong color anchor, layered under a coffee table in an eclectic living room, or beneath a dining table to introduce warmth and pattern. Pair it with warm wood tones and leather seating for a rustic or southwestern look, with matte black metal and exposed brick for an industrial loft, or with neutral linen upholstery and ochre or terracotta accents for a relaxed, global-inspired interior.
