Scallop Braided Jute takes the natural, organic texture of jute and gives it a playful edge. It's two designs, and each one adds a curve to a classic natural-fiber rug, so the room feels relaxed and a little bit whimsical.
The braided design is coiled by hand into nested rectangles, with round scallops all the way around its border. The striped design is hand woven in long, streaky bands, and each stripe finishes in a softly rounded tip at the top and bottom ends, so the edge looks like a row of gentle arches. Both are fringeless, so the outline stays clean and the shape gets the attention.
