Hand made from 100% wool, this rug presents a classic Persian-inspired medallion composition with an allover vine-and-floral field and layered ornamental borders. The yellow background provides a warm, luminous base for rich red and orange blossoms and scrolling foliage, while black outlines and blue, green and brown accents sharpen the motifs. The wool pile has a dense, slightly plush hand—firm enough to hold intricate patterning yet soft underfoot, with a subtle nap that catches the light and emphasizes the woven detail.
