Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this 4x6 rectangular rug from the Kazak Collection showcases traditional tribal artistry with a low, thin pile. The design features a warm cream field centered around a stepped crimson medallion and surrounded by geometric rosettes, floral palmettes, and angular motifs. A wide primary border in deep red is framed by slender bands of slate blue and olive green, filled with repeating geometric cartouches. Spun wool yarns give the surface a durable, authentic texture with nuanced color variation throughout.
