Product Description
Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this rug from the Mamluk Ziegler Collection showcases classic geometric artistry with traditional Mamluk motifs. The design features a bold, multifaceted central medallion layered in ochre gold, crimson red, and deep navy, framed by intricate octagonal and paisley-inspired corner spandrels. A wide, dotted midnight-blue border encloses the composition, accented by soft olive green, terracotta, and cream tones. Crafted with a thin pile and finished with subtle fringe along the edges, it offers a refined, low-profile texture underfoot.
This 5x7 rectangular rug anchors smaller seating areas, home offices, or formal entryways. The rich jewel tones and warm earthy accents pair naturally with dark mahogany or walnut furniture, leather armchairs, and antique brass fixtures. Place it over medium to dark hardwood or neutral tile floors to bring rich color and structured geometry to traditional, transitional, or bohemian interiors.
