Product Description
Hand-knotted from 100% hand spun wool, this 6x9 rectangular rug from the Mamluk Ziegler Collection showcases traditional craftsmanship made in Pakistan. The design features a complex geometric layout with a prominent central medallion framed by intricate octagonal motifs and detailed floral cartouches. A rich burgundy red field provides a striking background for accents of forest green, ochre gold, terracotta, royal blue, and cream. Its thin pile delivers a refined, authentic texture underfoot while keeping the intricate knotwork crisp and clear.
This piece serves as an ideal anchor for formal living rooms, dining rooms, and home offices. Pair it with dark walnut or mahogany furniture to enhance the warm, traditional tones, or place it against neutral leather seating and warm brass accents to highlight the green and ochre details.
